Vivo has confirmed that its X Fold 6 will launch globally, according to 9to5Google. The foldable skips the wide form factor and features a 200MP main camera and a teleconverter accessory.
Cameras lead the hardware package
The X Fold 6’s main camera uses a 200MP Samsung HPB Large Sensor. Alongside it are a 50MP periscope camera with 3x zoom and a 50MP ultrawide, with ZEISS imaging used across the camera system.
Vivo also has a teleconverter add-on designed to extend the camera’s reach. The company says users can expect a more responsive shutter, along with improvements to portrait mode and subject tracking.
Large displays and a 6,900mAh battery
The folding inner screen measures 8.02 inches, while the external display comes in at 6.51 inches. The X Fold 6 does not adopt the wide-foldable approach discussed in the report.
Inside is MediaTek’s Dimensity 9500 Super Edition processor. Memory options are 12GB and 16GB of RAM, while storage choices span 256GB, 512GB and 1TB.
The phone has a 6,900mAh battery, IP58/59 dust- and water-resistance ratings and OriginOS 7, based on Android 17, out of the box.
Global debut confirmed, US release not expected
Vivo has confirmed a global debut for the X Fold 6. However, 9to5Google cautions that a US release is not expected.
