Samsung raises Galaxy S26 prices, with a $200 jump for the 1TB Ultra
Most Galaxy S26 configurations now cost $100 more on Samsung.com, according to 9to5Google, while Amazon and Best Buy have not yet reflected the increases.

Note: this story is based on media reports and has not yet been officially confirmed by the company.
Samsung has increased prices for the Galaxy S26, S26+ and S26 Ultra on its own website, according to 9to5Google. Most configurations have risen by $100, but the 1TB Galaxy S26 Ultra carries a larger $200 increase. The changes have not yet appeared at every retailer.
The new Galaxy S26 prices
The revised pricing brings the starting Galaxy S26 to $999 and the Galaxy S26+ to $1,199. Buyers choosing the Galaxy S26 Ultra now face a starting price of $1,399.
Here is the full breakdown reported by 9to5Google:
| Model | Storage | Previous price | New price | | --- | --- | --- | --- | | Galaxy S26 | 256GB | $899 | $999 | | Galaxy S26 | 512GB | $1,099 | $1,199 | | Galaxy S26+ | 256GB | $1,099 | $1,199 | | Galaxy S26+ | 512GB | $1,299 | $1,399 | | Galaxy S26 Ultra | 256GB | $1,299 | $1,399 | | Galaxy S26 Ultra | 512GB | $1,499 | $1,599 | | Galaxy S26 Ultra | 1TB | $1,799 | $1,999 |
The top-storage Ultra is the exception to the otherwise uniform $100 adjustment, bringing its price to just below $2,000.
Retailers have not all followed
According to the report, Samsung.com already lists the increases, while Amazon and Best Buy have not yet updated their prices. That leaves a difference between Samsung's direct pricing and those third-party listings at the time of publication.
9to5Google expects the retailers to follow, but provides no confirmed timetable. The changes therefore should not be read as prices that are already in effect at every seller.
Samsung had previously increased the base S26 and S26+ prices compared with their predecessors. The Ultra had avoided that earlier adjustment, making this a change for buyers of the premium model as well.
FE and foldables remain outside the increase
The Galaxy S26 FE, which launched in August, does not appear to be affected. Its price had already risen by $50 over the previous generation. The Galaxy Z Fold 8 and Samsung's other foldables are also unchanged, according to the report.
Samsung has not supplied a reason for the latest increases. Although 9to5Google points to higher memory and component costs as a likely explanation, that remains the publication's assessment rather than a company-confirmed cause.
