Samsung Galaxy M08 goes official with 90Hz display and 6,000mAh battery
The Galaxy M08 arrives alongside the F08 on Samsung’s Indian website, bringing Android 17, expandable storage and security updates until September 2032.

Samsung has made the Galaxy M08 official by listing it on its Indian website on October 1, 2026. Introduced alongside the Galaxy F08, the phone combines a 90Hz LCD, a 6,000mAh battery and Android 17 with security support running until September 2032.
What was launched?
The Galaxy M08 is one of two newly listed Samsung models in India. According to GSMArena, both it and the Galaxy F08 are clones of the Galaxy A08 sold under different names. The two new phones share their display, chipset, memory, cameras, battery and software specifications.
The M08 will be available in silver, while the F08 will come in dark blue. Samsung’s website listings make the devices official; the price cited in the report comes from an earlier leak rather than those listings.
Design & display
The Galaxy M08 has a 6.7-inch LCD with a resolution of 720 × 1600 pixels and a 90Hz refresh rate. Those are the same display specifications reported for the F08 and A08.
The M08 and F08 both have an IP64 rating for dust and splash resistance.
Performance
A MediaTek Helio G99+ chipset powers the Galaxy M08. It is paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of expandable storage. The same memory configuration is reported for the F08.
Cameras
The main camera is a 50MP unit with an f/1.8 aperture and autofocus. It is accompanied by a 2MP depth sensor, while an 8MP camera handles selfies. This camera arrangement also matches the Galaxy F08.
Battery & charging
The Galaxy M08 carries a 6,000mAh battery and supports 25W charging. Both figures are shared with its newly listed sibling.
Software
The phone runs Android 17 with Samsung’s One UI 9 interface. Samsung promises security updates until September 30, 2032.
Price & availability
Samsung has listed the Galaxy M08 on its website in India, with silver as its stated colour. An earlier leak cited by GSMArena puts the expected price at INR 16,999, approximately $176. That figure is a leaked expectation, not Samsung’s official launch price.
