Samsung Galaxy A phones see US price increases of up to $70
Four Galaxy A models now cost more in the US, according to 9to5Google, with the largest increases affecting 256GB configurations of the A57 and A37.

Samsung’s latest US phone price increases extend beyond its flagship lineup. According to 9to5Google, four Galaxy A models have become more expensive on Samsung.com and at other retailers, with increases ranging from $20 to $70 depending on the device and storage configuration.
The changes affect the Galaxy A57, A37, A27 and A17. They arrive alongside higher prices for the Galaxy S26 series, widening the impact across Samsung’s phone range.
Which Galaxy A prices have changed?
The reported adjustments cover six model and storage combinations. Here is how the previous prices compare with the new ones:
| Model | Previous price | New price | | --- | --- | --- | | Galaxy A57, 128GB | $549 | $599 | | Galaxy A57, 256GB | $609 | $679 | | Galaxy A37, 128GB | $449 | $489 | | Galaxy A37, 256GB | $539 | $609 | | Galaxy A27 | $349 | $379 | | Galaxy A17 | $249 | $269 |
The 256GB versions of the Galaxy A57 and A37 receive the largest increases, at $70 each. Their 128GB counterparts rise by $50 and $40, respectively. The A27 adds $30, while the A17’s latest adjustment is $20.
That means the increases are not uniform, even within the same model family. Both listed higher-storage configurations have gone up more than their lower-storage alternatives.
Galaxy A17 moves further from its launch price
The smallest increase in this round comes with additional context. PhoneArena, which 9to5Google credits with first spotting the changes, describes this as the Galaxy A17’s second major price increase.
Samsung’s entry-level model launched in January at $199. Its newly reported $269 price puts it $70 above that original figure, rather than simply $20 above its most recent price.
For buyers looking at Samsung’s lower-priced phones, the A17 illustrates how successive adjustments can add up over the course of a year.
Higher costs reach beyond flagships
9to5Google places these changes against a backdrop of sharply rising component costs. It also reports that Galaxy S26 prices and the price of the seven-year-old Nvidia Shield TV Pro increased within the preceding 24 hours.
The Galaxy A changes were described as quiet adjustments. The report identifies the new prices on Samsung’s own website and at other retailers, but does not cite a Samsung statement explaining the individual increases.
