The Motorola Razr Ultra 2026 is available following its April 29, 2026 unveiling and May 14 release. The foldable pairs two 165Hz displays with a Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, 16GB of RAM and a 5000 mAh battery. The specification sheet lists a price of $1,119.95.

Design & display

The main screen is a 7-inch foldable LTPO AMOLED panel with a resolution of 1224 x 2992 pixels. It supports one billion colors, Dolby Vision and HDR10+, with a listed peak brightness of 5000 nits.

The external display measures 4 inches and uses an LTPO AMOLED panel with a 1272 x 1080 resolution. Like the inner screen, it supports a 165Hz refresh rate, Dolby Vision, HDR10+ and one billion colors. Its listed peak brightness is 3000 nits, and Gorilla Glass Ceramic protects the outer display.

Unfolded, the phone measures 171.5 x 74 x 7.2 mm. Folding it brings those dimensions to 88.1 x 74 x 15.7 mm. It weighs 199 g and combines an aluminum frame with a plastic front when unfolded and a glass front when folded.

The IP48 rating covers dust particles larger than 1 mm and immersion in water up to 1.5 meters for 30 minutes. Color options are Pantone Orient Blue and Cocoa.

Performance

Qualcomm’s 3 nm Snapdragon 8 Elite powers the Razr Ultra 2026. Its octa-core CPU combines two 4.47GHz cores with six 3.53GHz cores, alongside an Adreno 830 GPU. The listed memory configuration is 16GB RAM and 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage, without a memory card slot.

Connectivity includes sub-6GHz 5G with SA and NSA support, tri-band Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4 and NFC. The phone supports a Nano-SIM plus an eSIM and has a USB Type-C 2.0 port. A fingerprint reader sits on the side.

Cameras

The rear camera system consists of a 50 MP f/1.8 main camera with phase-detection autofocus and optical image stabilization, plus a 50 MP f/2.0 ultrawide with a 122-degree field of view. Camera features include Pantone Validated Colour and Skin Tones.

Rear video recording reaches 8K at 30fps and 4K at up to 120fps, with Dolby Vision and HDR10+ also listed. The front camera is a 50 MP f/2.0 unit capable of 4K recording at 30 or 60fps.

Battery & charging

The Razr Ultra 2026 has a 5000 mAh battery.

The phone runs Android 16.
